Since its inception, lovetempo, the brainchild of Mattie Safer (singer and bassist for Poolside and The Rapture), has moved with imagination and creativity, fusing saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk excursions, with modern dancefloor sensibilities. Through body, soul, and basslines lovetempo explores the travails and triumphs of the heart. Their 2023 self-titled debut was released on Brooklyn's own Razor-N-Tape to great acclaim, leading to a US tour with 79.5 and headline dates in New York, Mexico City, and Austin. The band's latest single "But I Do" is an acid-jazz club banger made in collaboration with multi-instrumentalist/producer Dougie Stu (Brijean/Bells Atlas) and Conclave’s Cesar Toribio. Over the course of more than a decade in NYC, Adios Ghost has crafted their singular brand of psychedelic dance-rock, once described offhand by Michael Azerrad as “power disco”. The band released their first full-length in 2017 followed by a US tour. After a brief hiatus, AG is set to return in 2024 with their second LP, Happy House, produced by Phil Mossman of LCD Soundsystem. Domina is the newest solo endeavor from Brooklyn veteran musician Christiana Bartolini, featuring the creative collaboration of co-producer Jasno Swarez. This project showcases a dynamic sound that blends elements of disco house, electro-pop, R&B, and dance.
