    SILO - Brooklyn

Saturday, August 31 at 10:00 PM

    About

**Chloé Robinson**’s current alias marks the final stamp of her evolution into a DJ/producer with a refined musical attention and expanded repertoire of projects. Formerly known as Barely Legal for over a decade of DJing under the wide umbrella of UK bass, grime and dubstep, her subsequent venture into production and the reassembling of the foundations of her own label Pretty Weird Records has grown in parallel to her refreshed multi-genre approach to her selections. With a compelling mix of polyrhythmic techno, electro, UK garage and more, the London-based artist has kept her new momentum moving through a diligent touring calendar and music schedule. **DJ ADHD** has carved a unique sound scattered with 909s and 808s that blur the lines of techno and UK bass music. Following his debut release ‘Vortex’ and more recently ‘Rips’; a club weapon created alongside Nikki Nair (both released on Pretty Weird), his release schedule has filled up with solo releases and projects with Chloé Robinson, Nikki Nair and Villager, making sure that his club focused sound is heard on dancefloors around the world.

SILO is a new 500-cap multi-genre music and event space built in a converted hangar in East Williamsburg, the hub of Brooklyn's new nightlife scene. Fully fitted to deliver the ultimate multi-sensory experience, SILO looks forward to hosting DJs and producers representing the vast universe of dance music and the cultures and communities that have grown up around them. There is no guiding genre or standard BPM; rather, there is an energy that will permeate the dance floor and an ethos that lends itself to the open-minded exploration of sound. SILO stands in full support of risk-taking creatives who aim to experiment and push boundaries, and respects the freedom of individuals to be fully themselves. Finally, SILO is welcome to any and all who find themselves seeking such a space. This is a gender neutral space, enforcing no gender norms or power structures and tolerating no forms of hate or bias.
