Flowers Now is a concert series uplifting and celebrating trans feminine musicians and performers, started by New York-based experimental pop musician and writer Michael Love Michael in Spring 2022. Read about it here: https://www.them.us/story/flowers-now-concert-preview This next installment, taking place September 4th 2024 at Brooklyn venue C’Mon Everybody, will highlight a musically varied range of Black and Brown transfemme and queer performers. The event will also serve as a fundraiser for trans-led mutual aid organization, The Okra Project, as well as Gaza relief efforts through UNRWA, the world’s largest on-the-ground Gaza humanitarian aid organization. In partnership with Flowers Now, The Okra Project will be on hand to offer more information about their community services and to provide special care packages to ticketed guests. This event is co-produced by Michael Love Michael and co-headliner Lassai, alongside artist Brandon Smith’s Golden Boi Productions.
